Poor Mrs. Lovett. She picked the barber that barely recognized her affections over a boy that loved her more than life itself.
But, UH, the movie kicked you in the shins with that happy scene of that family they /could've/ been.
SO. UMM. DEDICATED TO MRS. LOVETT AND HER FANTASIES.
Belongs to bllaahhhh.
Drawn by meeee.
By the way, the only person better for Johnny than Helena is Gerard.
I've never seen the stage version. I HAVE TO ADMIT, I wasn't interested 'till I figured out about the TimBurtonized movie. And I love Tim Burton. He is hugs and kisses.
I youtubed the stage version, too, however. And I think I adore their little, little characterizations they do.
The differences between play and movie almost make them, completely.. different. Thank you for the faves. C:

I like the stage version because to do the musical, they have to have strong singing voices. I mean don't get me wrong, Johnny Depp did a fantastic job in the movie, but his singing voice isn't the best.
YES, GUESS HOW DUMB I AM? IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO REALIZE WHY STAGE PEOPLE VIBRATED. CAUSE.. Uh. duh. I'm so smart.
xD Johnny Depp as a rock star isn't fun to imagine.
Thank you. I WEEL.

Love the picture; its got a semi surreal feel to it, or maybe thats just me.
I loved the movie but I will admit the musical cuts took some getting used to (they should have atleast left the balad of sweeney todd in, its one of my favorite songs from the musical); it would have been truely perfect if the screen writer hadnt for some reason felt the need to remove all the chorus parts. Thats the onlys reason I wouldnt take the movie as a replacement for the staged version. Depp was absolutely perfect for the part though, I remember thinking it after the very first time I saw sweeney todd.

Thank you. I feel appreciated. Maybe the lack of background is what's making it look so-
ANYWAYS. Yes, I know. I was like, "Chorus, pls?". But, perhaps, they didn't want to feel like the audience got bored of repition, 'cause I'm pretty sure 12p0909343439purple people were watching only cause it was Johnny Depp, and went headstrong without the knowledge that it was a musical.
Depp > Russell Crowe. He was originally gonna be Sweeney Todd.
