The law of Dante's Hell is the law of symbolic retribution. As they sinned so are they punished. They took no sides, therefore they are given no place.
"depiction" for my humanities pronject. supposedly level 9, but a very fucking horrible job of it, since it looks like "satan"'s enjoying it or whatev. don't worry, i'll make some giftarded the-pain-is-tragically-mental-and-bodily-harm-would-just-make-it-seem-like-petting-a-dog. honestly, this took a very short amount of time, so don't judge it by its horribleness lmao. I've recently (if you count 12 weeks recent) discovered that the only thing as endearing as my admiration for history and art is my intrigue for theology. Honestly, this shit is complex.

I don't know if my humanities class will be this intense but I look forward to it if it is ha ha!
Anyway, gorgeous picture. I admire how you use such stunning colors together. The wings just pop out in that dark patch of blue, and I love how it's so...eye-catching. I dunno, most of the time it's, like, wings against a light blue and clouds mingling together in a background so it's confusing but everything's so recognizable owhatever
And oh don't even get my started on the skin tones bah I love when people use blue and purple. ;__; admirable, you truly are~~
Dante's Inferno kicks ass. And yyou're right, when it comes to theology this is always something that sparks a lot of thought. You always have the coolest interpretations of these old classics. I love the colors!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
